Summary
Kaštel Cicarelli is one of a series of fortified family homes in the harbour of Pučišća. Its surviving tower and residential sections show how defence and living space were combined.
Kaštel Cicarelli is a separate building from Kaštel Žuvetić.

A fortified house
The kaštel belongs to the early modern development of Pučišća, when families by the harbour built houses with defensive features. The Cultural Heritage Register lists it under reference Z-5296. Its history is part of the wider series of towers in Pučišća.

A building in the harbour centre
With its stone tower and residential sections, the complex bears witness to the shared need to protect home and property. Later alterations adapted it for living. The series of fortified houses is important for understanding the layout and appearance of historic Pučišća.

Location and viewing
The pin is derived from the official boundary of the protected cultural property in the historic centre; the centre of the outline does not mark an entrance. Private interiors and courtyards are not automatically open. Leave the street passage clear when viewing the exterior.
