Škrip with Aleksandra Faber

He and Aleksandra Faber published an extensive study of Škrip in 1985. The authors combined excavations with a field study of the settlement, from the Bronze Age and large ramparts to the ancient mausoleum. Their joint work documents their research collaboration.

Ancient names of islands

In ‘Crateae–Celadussae’, he discusses ancient sources and rejects the identification of one place name with Brač, arguing instead for the Kornati Islands. This example shows that studying the island’s past involves critically reading names and texts alongside material finds.
