Her work on Škrip is based on excavations and field study of the settlement.

Architecture as a path to archaeology

Škrip and the layers of settlement

She studied Škrip as a settlement with prehistoric, ancient and later remains. A 1985 study examines the ramparts, changes to the urban core and the monumental mausoleum. The finds show continuity and transformation in the landscape, rather than a single date of its origin.

Collaboration with Mladen Nikolanci

Mladen Nikolanci co-authored the article ‘Škrip na otoku Braču’ (‘Škrip on the Island of Brač’) with her. Their joint authorship and the fieldwork underlying the study document actual research collaboration. Their work helps explain why the ramparts and mausoleum in Škrip matter to the history of the island.
