A commission connecting two sculptors
Ivan Rendić had earlier expected to receive the commission for the same mausoleum. Rosandić’s later execution was one of the circumstances that marked Rendić’s final period of life in Supetar. The sculptors’ connection is evident in the history of the commission and the town’s artistic memory.
