Osridke · approximate hamlet areaOther names: Stara škola u Osridkamahistoric school buildingApproximate area beside Osridke; the exact school location and entrance have not yet been confirmed.

Summary

A simple stone school building in the hamlet of Osridke bears witness to public education in the rural area around Selca.

The bell gable held a school bell; it does not indicate a church.

A school in a rural area

The official description of the hamlets around Selca mentions a school in Osridtke. It was part of shared life in an area where residents otherwise lived in small family groups.

The building and its distinctive details

A 2004 conservation study describes a single-storey stone building with a pitched roof, a bell gable and stone window and door frames. In front of the entrance, it notes an enclosed porch and a wellhead. The document does not give a reliable construction date.

Orientation and viewing

No coordinate source confirms the exact outline of the school building. The pin marks an approximate area beside the hamlet, based on a written description of its separate location; it is not a confirmed entrance. Check the current condition and permission to enter locally.
