Language in the public sphere
Alongside theoretical questions, he worked on language policy. He published ‘Hrvatski i srpski: krivotvorine i zablude’ (‘Croatian and Serbian: Fabrications and Misconceptions’), and ‘Jezikoslovna promišljanja’ (‘Linguistic Reflections’) appeared posthumously. His connection with Brač is firmly established by his birthplace; it does not follow that he conducted his professional research specifically in Pučišća.
